CHRIS ATKINSON

In my early adult years, I was fortunate at the gym, being trained in the early 90’s by a former Mr. Indiana turned out to pay huge dividends. It is not that I learned short-cuts, what I learned was helpful and useful strategies that still stand true today. In time I have gone on to become a Master Trainer and a competitor in the fitness industry.
Next, being a type 1 diabetic for over 40 years has been so vital in helping to learn proper nutrition, as I maintain an A1C blood level under 6 consistently.
Fitness is not just about the gym, we need fuel. Unfortunately, so many men and women seem to proceed with the wrong fuel, or not enough fuel and this can hinder us from crushing our goals.
Here at Primed Fitness your goals become our goals, we will work to create you a plan of action as well as accountability to maintain that daily focus. We know you want to hit those goals, and together we will.
RYAN ATKINSON
I started my fitness journey like many other people, in Junior High to keep a spot on the football team. Being the smallest and shortest guy around, I just couldn’t keep up. Cardio kept me at a whopping 115 pounds upon graduation. Entering college the next year, the gym started calling my name but I just didn’t understand enough to get BIGGER. I became a personal trainer in 2016 and had a passion for helping people take control of their life in the best way I knew I could, passing along my information from both years of studying, and personal experience.
I ended up joining the US Navy and came to a realization that the complexity of everyday tasks really defeats the task from being completed in the first place. So I thought to myself, why not create a straight forward easy route to helping people hit their goals as quick as they can? The plan we came up with got me back in the gym and took me from 135 pounds to 170 while maintaining 10% bodyfat the entire time. The best part is, I actually have fun doing it now and can stay consistent!

COACH KAT
I have been into fitness since I was 12 years old, and loved everything about it. My fitness journey at that time was wrapped up in sports: basketball, volleyball, and track.
My career in fitness started 18 years ago at our local YMCA. This is where I realized that my love for fitness went beyond my own happiness and stretched into wanting others to fall in love with fitness, eating healthily, and feeling as wonderful as I DO!
My first experiences were teaching members how to use equipment and feel better just by starting to move their body a little bit everyday. From there I started the exciting journey of becoming certified in many different formats of personal training, group glasses, consulting, and mentorship programs. I was able to help and teach many people how to lose weight, build muscle, and find an eating and exercise plan that worked for them.
Due to my success in personal training and consulting, I had the privilege of mentoring other trainers along with creating and implementing successful and effective training programs.
Over the years, I’ve helped thousands of people learn to enjoy moving their bodies, lose weight, gain strength and mobility, and eat for their lifestyle!
